Livestrong Banded Together Tour — Community Fundraiser Highlight: I Know Jack Foundation

The I Know Jack Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by the Hoeger family in honor of their son, Jack Hoeger. Jack was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer at the age of five. Now in remission, Jack and his family continue to help others fighting cancer.

Their Mission: To raise funds to support the cancer patient and their families from diagnosis through survivorship.

“We created the I Know Jack Foundation to help us tell Jack’s story and create fundraising and lobbying opportunities to support cancer funding. This allows us to turn our family’s experience from a negative to a positive by helping others who are fighting cancer.”

Livestrong is excited to include the I Know Jack Annual Fundraiser as a stop on the ‘Banded Together Tour’. In honor of its 25th anniversary, the Livestrong Foundation is asking its cancer-fighting community to share their stories to help identify the missing links in cancer care. We are all linked by cancer. No matter your connection, your story matters.

Join us on April 9, 2022, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for the 2022 I Know Jack Annual Fundraiser.

“Our goal is to raise awareness about cancer, support those affected by cancer, assist with cancer research and improve the survivor’s quality of life. We understand that cancer affects entire family and that it takes a community to beat cancer.”

Banded Together, we Livestrong!
